Back from Dallas

Wow.

So, Project Neo, my robotics team, left for Dallas on Thursday. We competed in the semi-nationals, competing against 59 other teams from the west side of the Mississippi. Out of those 60 teams, we scored 28th place in the game. This is considerably higher than we had imagined we would score. Unfortunately, the awards ceremony was at 6:00 pm on Saturday, which was precisely the time we needed to catch our plane back. So, we don't know the full results- for all I know, we could have won the 1st place championship overall BEST award... but that's unlikely.

I just got back from a good game of Halo 2. As per usual, I got whipped.

I'll let you know more information as I find out.

Bubbles Course 2

I've just released a new game, and considering that people probably read this blog a lot more often than they check my software website, I figured I should mention it here as well. After a short beta test, I've released the sequel to the generally-liked game, Bubbles Course 2. Download! Play! Enjoy!

Evan VS. - Round 1.

I was just relaxing, jamming to tunes, when an old friend of mine decided to talk at me. I was bored, and he wanted to debate me on religion, so hilarity ensued. [Warning- contains adult language and subject material.]

Aaaargh

Whew! What a long week. I haven't gotten around to updating in the last few days, despite everything there is to say.

Well, we all know it- Bush won. At least the constitution limits him to two terms. I honestly think that if voters actually knew the issues, Kerry would have won- and oh, do I feel sorry for the poor guy. There can't be anything more embarrasing than losing to the president who has absoloutely reversed the budget surplus he started out with, been the first president in 70 years to lose jobs, and cannot pronounce ' nuclear'.

On Tuesday, that same day, I got my learner's permit. You'd best stay off all the roads until I get the hang of driving... perhaps you should stay off the sidewalks as well. :-D

I've been super-busy with robotics- I'm leaving one week from now to go to Dallas. I haven't been on an airplane in the longest time... No worries, though.

I'm working on setting up a webring between myself and several friends with similarly pointless websites. I'll let you know how that goes.
